GITOYA CENTRE FOR ACADEMIC RESEARCH AND DISSEMINATION (G-CARD) supports academicians and researchers to search and share findings through the East African Journal of education and Social Sciences (EAJESS) and the East Africa Journal of Management and Business Studies (EAJMBS).
While it is true that research and publication are among key features for existence of Higher Learning Institutions, many educators concentrate on teaching at the expense of research and publication. While this could be due to limited capacity, EAJESS and EAJMBS seek to address this issue through the following specific objectives:
- To bring together worldwide scholars, academicians and researchers for knowledge creation and dissemination. Hence, G-CARD runs conferences whereby researchers from various countries meet to share research findings on how to solve worldwide issues and challenges.
- To enhance inter institutional and international collaboration in research and publication among scholars in Higher Learning Institutions.
- To mentor upcoming researchers (Postgraduate students) and motivate experienced ones to join hands together to collaborate in addressing worldwide issues through research and publication.
- To identify talented youngsters in Primary and Secondary schools through writing competitions and build capacity for them to be future researchers and writers.
